Fixtures can either be spot repaired with color matching or you can choose to have the whole fixture be given a completely new glossy coating. The technique can also be extended to clawfoot tubs, kitchen sinks, back splash tiles, countertops and cabinets. The most common request is typically for bathtubs, shower stalls, wall tiles and sinks to be given a glossy white finish due to its timeless neutrality for bathroom decorating and its general low maintenance. Any fixtures with holes, cracks or chips are first repaired, with tiles being regrouted before the etching process begins. The end result on the wall tile is a durable, uniform water-tight glaze covering both tile and grouting, making it both more hygienic and easier to clean. The bonding agent used in our coatings are the same as that used by the aerospace industry. The end result is always a high bond, watertight coating that is durable enough to stand many more years of use.
